INTERNAL MEDICINE PHYSICIAN
Dr. Salas graduated from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1999 and completed her Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Texas in Galveston in 2002. After completing her residency, Dr. Salas became a hospitalist physician.
She enjoyed hospital medicine because it gave her the opportunity to travel across the country and assist hospitals that were understaffed and in need of competent physicians. She also loved meeting new patients, making new friends, and the opportunity to learn about local cultures in this country.
Dr. Salas has always championed the importance of primary and secondary prevention as it relates to health and optimal living. She began practicing healthy nutrition and exercise as a young child, which became the reason why she pursued medicine and became a doctor.
Dr. Salas maintained a healthy lifestyle while she was in college, medical school, residency training – and beyond. By example, she encourages her patients, family members, and friends on the importance of staying active during the aging process.
In 2014, Dr. Salas is highly experienced in chronic disease management, anti-aging medicine and aesthetic medicine, with a passion for women’s hormonal health.
She is continually expanding her knowledge and skills, staying on the cutting edge of anti-aging and aesthetic medicine, a field that is ever-evolving in terms of innovation and technologies.
Her focus is making the general public aware that these treatments are attainable and can reduce the speed of the skin’s aging process, helping them live life looking and feeling their best!

Jennifer Mucha is a double board-certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, earning her MSN at Walden University and Bachelor’s Degree from Grand Canyon State University. She has over 10 years experience in the medical field, including emergency medicine, hematology-oncology, orthopedic surgery, and aesthetics.
Ms. Mucha’s philosophy of care consists of a patient-centered approach. She is passionate about regenerative medicine and creating result-driven treatment plans. She has undergone extensive training in many areas of aesthetics that include skin analysis, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, micro-needling with PRP, chemical peels, and is a qualified SkinCeuticals Expert. She also specializes is medically supervised weight loss.
Ms. Mucha relocated from Arizona to Jacksonville in the recent years to pursue her career dreams alongside her fiancé and two beautiful daughters. She is enjoying every adventure Florida has to offer including the coastline, sunshine, and southern feel.

She is not only proficient in the necessary skills in administering EKGs, phlebotomy and other vitals, but she thoroughly enjoys working with patients, anticipating needs and being an all-around helpful and calming presence.
She’s a people person who welcomes all with a caring smile. This positive nature even comes across the phone, as Leslie manages, executes and administers the business of Dr. Salas Wellness Center, with intelligence, tenacity and attention to detail as there are many moving parts.
While working in this fascinating health field, she’s learned – and practices daily – beneficial eating habits, hiking and skincare health. Leslie has become an advocate to all who will hear about the importance of good health being foundational to a better life.
